Trunk or Treat is TONIGHT! We can't wait to see you all dressed up in your costumes tonight at our annual Trunk or Treat event! It runs from 6:00-8:00 PM, and the cost is $3 per student. Children under 5 are free. Come for Trunk or Treating, games, food, and more! Please check with your child's teacher regarding Halloween (Oct. 31) classroom festivities. There are NO costumes at school on that day. Hillary's Happenings Livonia Goodfellows' Canned Food Drive Oct. 30-Nov. 20 at Rosedale It's that time of year! Students are invited to bring in cans, boxes, or unbreakable jars of non-perishable food. Collection boxes are in the lobby and outside each classroom. "No child without a Christmas!" Fun Run Was a Success! Here is the whole school on the Churchill track! The PTA planned stations for the students, to keep them moving! Thank you for your pledges! We raised over $3300 for our school! THIRD GRADE READING BILL READING PROFICIENCY REPORTS Are you familiar with the third grade-reading bill?  This is sometimes referred to as Public Act 306 or House Bill No. 4822.   First-fourth grader families received a copy of your child's fall assessment results on Friday. The Kindergarten reports will be sent home on Monday. The focus of parent-teacher conferences won't be on the report card, which comes home in December, but rather your child's current progress  academically and socially.   To address this fall data, every classroom will have a designated period of time each day devoted to providing additional supports to struggling learners and enrichment/extension activities for children who are scoring at or above grade level on their assessme

Fun Run Postponed until Monday Our Fun Run was moved to this Monday, Oct. 8,  same time,  same place! The event will begin at 1:30, on the Churchill High School track. Family members who would like to cheer on the Rosedale Rissos may report to classrooms at 1:20, and walk over with us. Here's a preview of the awesome prizes for the  highest PLEDGE winners! Pledges will be accepted through Tuesday, Oct. 9. Remember to wear your Rosedale spirit wear! Thank you in advance to the volunteers working the event. Hearing Screening The Wayne County Health Department will be coming to conduct Hearing Screening Screening for all Kindergarten, First, Second, and Fourth Graders.
