Riverside Skating Night TONIGHT! When: Friday, March 22, 6:00-8:00 PM Where: Riverside Arena,  36635 Plymouth Rd, Livonia Who: All Rosedale Friends and Families Look for the flyer in backpacks! We continue with our March is Reading Month festivities, and welcome 105.1 The Bounce DJ's Gello and Joanna, as guest readers in Mrs. Bartnick, Mrs. Emmick, and Mrs. Nadon's classrooms. We also had a blast at Guy Louis' Music Around the World Assembly! The students and staff had so much fun learning about instruments and music from Native Americans, Africa, India, and America. We danced and sang, and it was awesome! Thank you, PTA for funding these great events! We also received a Michigan Humanities Council Arts and Humanities Touring Grant to fund the event. Fourth Grade Youth Making a Difference Project Our fourth grade classes organized a fundraiser for Pennies for Patients, and collected coins for cancer research. Our school total was $1,054.42! Thank you to the fourth grade classes for their work toward this effort, and thank you to our families for their donations. Because the fourth graders met their goal, they will be enjoying a celebration lunch provided here at school by Olive Garden! Here are some snapshots of our fourth grade coin-counters.
