Dear Families, As we start week 3 of no school and/or work, we know that you have been inundated with emails and communications from Rosedale and LPS, and it probably feels overwhelming. Please know, we are dedicated to providing you with the most current and pertinent information concerning your child's wellbeing and education. As we wait to hear from Governor Whitmer, we are working hard to provide students with academic enrichment that supports and deepens their learning. We look forward to partnering with you in this process, and we need your support in a few areas. 1. If you have not communicated with your child's teacher, please do so. Our teachers have been working tirelessly to reach out to their kids, and most have been successful in reaching the majority, if not all. Report Cards are available on Parent Connect Today, Wednesday, March 25 Parent Connect Information Sheet If you have any trouble connecting, please email Mrs. Sutton and she should be able to help you. Some of you may be wondering...... Why are we providing work for our students during this shut-down?? We want to keep our students' brains SHARP! Although we cannot plan NEW learning for our students, we certainly can plan for PRACTICE and ENRICHMENT. Weekly Lessons  - Your first week of lessons will be ready for next week. Your teachers will send them to you on Friday night. These lessons will not focus on new learning, but they will build on things that your child has already been taught in school. They will not count for a grade but your teachers will be available and ready to give feedback on the work. All Weekly Grade Level Lessons will be linked on the Rosedale Website, as available. UPCOMING EVENTS AT ROSEDALE Monday, March 16:  The building will be open from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Families will have the opportunity to  briefly  gather their personal belongings and any needed items (including medications picked up by parents/guardians). If you have duplicate medications at home, please consider leaving the medications at the school for use upon student return.  Wednesday, March 25:   Report Cards  will be available for view on Parent Connect.
