Thursday and Friday are Half Days! Breakfast is served, however there will be no lunch these days. Dismissal is at 12:10 p.m. Community Financial Recap We ended the year with 24 open accounts, and our students saved a total of  $2213.49  with an average of $368.92 deposited at each SCU (WOW)!  We did 94 total deposits in only 6 sessions averaging 16 each deposit day (which is very impressive)! Most importantly, we had 30 student volunteers learning job and banking skills  J   This was a GREAT first year for the Rosedale SCU! We owe much of our success to the efforts of our AWESOME Rosedale 4 th  grade volunteers! We can't wait to sponsor more savers next year! The Playground is OPEN! The long wait is over! Our students were able to enjoy the new playground for the first time this Thursday. Thank you to the Livonia voters for passing the millage that has allowed for the physical improvement of our schools and grounds. Arts Beats and Eats Music Program This Friday Night, June 8, 6:00-8:00 pm! Kindergarten –  Report to Classrooms at  6:00 pm, Concert time 6:15 pm. Grades 1 and 2 - Report to Classrooms at 6:30 pm, Concert time 6:45 pm.   Grades 3 and 4 –   Report to Classrooms  at 7:00, Concert time 7:15 pm. Concerts will be in the gym. It will be hot--kids should wear cool clothing! Come and enjoy the concerts, the art work, a photo booth, ice cream, and watermelon! You'll have the opportunity to see our new playground, too! Spree Ticket Sales The Rosedale PTA continues to offer Spree Tickets at a discount. Time is running out-take advantage of this opportunity if you plan on attending the Livonia Spree this sum

Field Day is Monday, June 4! Please have your child wear tennis shoes, appropriate clothing, and bring a water bottle (labeled). Please apply sunblock at home, and if you haven't had a chance, please send in $1 so your child may enjoy a Kona Snow Cone! Students will be participating from 9:30-11:30 and 1:45-3:00. Rosedale Fourth Graders: Youth Making a Difference! The Rosedale Fourth Graders decided to support the Beat Neuroblastoma Foundation, in honor of Kellen Weakley, Mrs. Weakley's son (she is one of our  kindergarten teachers) . Theses students decided to collect coins, sponsor a bake sale, and there were individual students who had their own, personal fundraisers. Hayes Elementary and the LPS Central Office HR staff also collected and contributed. The grand total raised for the organization was over $2,000!
