March is Reading Month and Rosedale's theme is, "Let's Read S'More!"
Be on the lookout for a March calendar outlining all special events, and on the back, your child's reading log. This will be the place to record your child's reading minutes for the month. If your child reads 100 minutes a week, they will be eligible for the weekly prize! Let's Read S'More!

Important Food Service Announcement
LPS is pleased to announce that starting on Monday, March 1, all LPS students who would like to enjoy a school-provided breakfast and/or lunch, may do so, at no cost.
There are no sign-ups or eligibility requirements. Just like always, students pick up their breakfast, and/or provide their lunch choice to their teacher. There is no charge, thanks to a federal waiver the district has secured.
Students who bring their lunch and wish to purchase juice or milk for 50¢ will still need to utilize their account for those purchases.
The federal government has made this waiver available to school districts as a way to lighten the burden on families during the pandemic. It is anticipated that the program will continue through the end of this school year.
