 Good morning, Rosedale Families,

Here are some reminders to help facilitate a smooth beginning of the school year.

Children need healthy meals to learn and grow. Daily our children at Rosedale have access to breakfast from 8:30-8:50 a.m. and lunch during the student lunch hour.  Breakfast costs $1.75 and lunch costs between $3.25-$3.75. Your child may qualify for free or reduced breakfast ($.30) and lunch ($.40).  Please see the attached information to see if your child qualifies for this service.  

Also, please know that the district is moving to an electronic application process. The link below should be used by parents to apply for Free or Reduced breakfast/lunch. 

If you list an email on the app, you will receive an email indicating if you've qualified. If no email is listed, a letter will be sent. If you do not receive notice, please call the Food Services office at 734-744-2820 and they will be happy to resend.

Beginning August 30, you will be able to access Parent Connect to find out your child's teacher assignment and transportation information. Please see the Parent Connect attachment for more information.

The first day of school, Tuesday, Sept. 5, is a HALF DAY of school, 8:54-12:10. Breakfast will be served in the gym starting at 8:30. If your child is NOT having breakfast, 8:45 is the earliest we have students arrive. For the first day of school only, please do not arrive earlier than 8:40. Kindergarten parents are welcome to walk their children to class, however older grades should refrain from doing this, if possible. We would respectfully ask that all parents are ready to leave soon after 9:00. Students and teachers need their time to get organized and get started with the day!

The second day of school, Wednesday, Sept. 6, is a full day of school, 8:54-3:59. Both breakfast and lunch will be served. Bus transportation will operate starting the first day of school.

Attention ALL Fourth Graders!! Wednesday is our 4th grade Graduation Yard Sign distribution, starting at 3:45. Due to a generous donation, ALL fourth graders will be receiving a sign, so come on by! Pick up will be drive-by, and will be available from 3:45-4:30! For last minute orders, CLICK HERE !
