Welcome to Mrs. Kohler's Blog: The Rosedale Report!

My name is Paula Kohler, and I am so excited to begin the 2017-18 school year as the principal of Rosedale Elementary. I have 25 years of experience in education, and began my career in Grand Rapids Public Schools and have spent the last 14 years in Livonia Public Schools. I started out as a special education teacher, and have worked as a Resource Room Teacher, a Title I Teacher, and a 3rd and 4th grade teacher. Most recently, I have been the principal at Garfield Elementary in LPS.

Again, I look forward to meeting and working with the Rosedale community. We will build partnerships to ensure the learning of all Rosedale students.

Go to livoniapublicschools.org. Hover over Parents Click on Parent Connect
Enter your 8 digit PIN – provided in an email from Parent Connect. Enter your Password (this is case sensitive) Click on Log In
You will see your student/s listed
To view details on a student, click on the student’s name
Click on Schedule in the left hand list
Check the “Show All” box located in the upper right corner of the “schedule section”
At the top of the page on the right side you’ll see My Account, Email Notifications, Help, About & Sign Out Click on My Account to verify your email address or change your password. Click on Submit or Back
Click on Email Notifications to set up daily email preferences. Click on Submit or Back
Click on Help for more help navigating your Parent Connect account.

  Welcome Back! Good afternoon Rosedale Rissos! I am so excited to welcome our students back to school this fall. For those of you who are new, you will find Rosedale to be a warm, friendly environment. Please look forward to the publication of the Rosedale Report each week, usually on Fridays. Important Calendar Change: TODAY, Friday, June 11 is a half day, due to the extreme heat. Dismissal is 12:20! FREE  LPS Summer Learning Opportunities The registration deadline for "Learning in L-Town" is Monday, June 14! Please visit the LPS website for details!! Chromebook/Charge Cord Return June 14:   F2F Kindergartners and 1st graders  return Chromebooks to school in backpacks. June 15:   F2F 2nd graders return Chromebooks  to school in backpacks. Attention ALL Fourth Graders!! Wednesday is our 4th grade Graduation Yard Sign distribution, starting at 3:45. Due to a generous donation, ALL fourth graders will be receiving a sign, so come on by! Pick up will be drive-by, and will be available from 3:45-4:30! For last minute orders, CLICK HERE ! Orders are due TODAY, Friday, June 4, by noon!   Important Transportation Information for 21-22 All students in K-12  eligible for transportation  based on their home address will be required to request transportation for the 2021-22 School year.
