THANK YOU to the PTA and all the volunteers
for making Friday night such a wonderful event.
Biggby coffee provided free hot chocolate and cider,
the Livonia Fire truck was there passing out candy,
we had boy Scout and CHS volunteers, parent volunteers, and teacher volunteers!

Looking for something to do
with your kids on Nov. 6?
On November 6, join the Michigan Science Center (MiSci) for our Make It Count Day, where you elect us to provide high-quality STEM experiences for your students. Guests will have an opportunity to experience MiSci's 250+ hands-on exhibits, live stage shows, Spark!Lab from the Smithsonian, Kids Town gallery, STEM Playground space and more! This family friendly and free event provides a dynamic learning environment to empower and enrich your students with science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) activities and programs. They are located at 5020 John R Street in Detroit.

Why: To raise travel funds for the
Weakley Family
Mrs. Weakly is one of our awesome
kindergarten teachers, and we would like to support
her family, as they plan a trip to Texas
for her son's medical treatment.
We would prefer you pre-purchase tickets,
however they will also be available at the door.

Oct. 30-Nov. 20 at Rosedale
It's that time of year!
Students are invited to bring in cans, boxes, or unbreakable jars
of non-perishable food. Collection boxes are in the lobby
and outside each classroom.
"No child without a Christmas!"

Motor Moms & Dads
Calling all moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles...
looking for a fun volunteer opportunity!
If you have one-two hours a week, and would enjoy working with
our young learners, this might be the opportunity for you.
Motor Moms & Dads is a gross motor program, designed to
develop balance and coordination skills.
These gross motor skills lead to better developed fine motor skills and learning!
If you are interested in the training and would like to volunteer
an hour or two a week, please contact Mrs. Kohler @ 734-744-2800.

Congratulations to Max and Amaya for being our top Pledge-Collectors
for our fall Fun Run! They picked the prize of being
Assistant Principals for the Day, and both did
an outstanding job!
Monthly Perfect Attendance Awards

and the fundraiser runs from Nov. 5-Nov. 27, 2018.
