VERY IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!

This is a reminder that we need every student's information in Parent Connect updated prior to October 5th (Monday), so please follow the directions below at your earliest convenience to update your student's information.  If at all possible, please update this information on a computer, as it is very difficult to see the necessary buttons/information when using a mobile phone.  Again, we need this done prior to October 5th. It is imperative we have the CORRECT ADDRESS listed for your student in Parent Connect.

Directions for accessing Parent Connect:

1. Go to www.livoniapublicschools.org
2. Click on the "Parents" tab at the top of the website
3. Click on the "Parent Connect" link
4. Click where it says, "Click here to log in to the Parent Portal"
5. Put in your pin and password for your account and then update all of the student info for your student(s).

Blessings in a Backpack is Back!

BIAB is a program designed to assist families with a 

weekly bag of groceries. If your family is interested, please

fill out this form. Students will bring home the bag each

week on Fridays. LINK

Monday, Oct. 5: Mini Twin Burgers, Green Beans, Fruit

Tuesday, Oct. 6: Pizza, Dipping Sauce, Fruit

Wednesday, Oct. 7: French Toast Sticks, Potato, Sausage, Fruit

Thursday, Oct. 8: Corn Dog, Onion Rings, Baked Beans

Friday, Oct. 9: Popcorn Chicken, Potato Smiles, Green Beans, Fruit

*Alternate Meal: Cereal, Cheese Stick or Hard Boiled Egg, Muffin

*All Entrees include a choice of side and milk.

*Menu subject to change. The snack cart and salad bar will not be

offered as options at this time.

You may pre-pay for lunch and breakfast thru Parent Connect.

You may also send in cash in an envelope marked with your student's name,

teacher's name, and indicate that it is lunch money.

Lifetouch Picture Day is scheduled for 

Monday, Oct. 19 for ALL Rosedale students.

We will be sharing a schedule for both

face-to-face students, as well as Livonia Virtual

students to come in for their school picture!

We are also making plans to host a 

Virtual Curriculum Night for parents of all

face to face and Livonia Virtual students,

on Thursday, Oct. 15.

Return Dates for In-Person:

Monday, Oct. 5: Kindergarten Only

Tuesday, Oct. 6: Kindergarten and First Grade Only

Wednesday, Oct. 7: Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade Only

Thursday, Oct. 8: Kindergarten, First, Second, and Third Grade Only

Friday, Oct. 9: ALL Rosedale In-person Students, K-4

*All students will continue to participate in remote learning

until the day of their return.

School Hours:

In-person Student Full Day: 9:10am-3:25pm*

*30-40 minutes of iReady instruction required daily at home.

Office Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm

ARRIVAL, Grade Level Entrances:

Kindergarten: Door #4 (SE corner of the building)

First and Second: Door #3 (SE corner of the building)

Third and Forth: Door #9 (SW corner of the building)

DISMISSAL, Grade Level Exits:

Kindergarten: Door #4 (same as arrival)

First and Second: Door #3 (same as arrival)

Third and Fourth: Door #11 (NW corner of the building)

*Bus riders will be dismissed starting at 3:25,

students who are walking or getting picked up

will be escorted to their exit doors following.

Mark your calendars for a Pumpkin Carving

Contest: photos due Oct. 31!

And... wear your costumes on Oct. 30!

Face to face students:

1. Please send your student to school in their costume;

your child will not be allowed to change clothes at school.

2. Your student will be wearing his/her costume all day, please make

sure it's comfortable and that they can play outside in their costume.

3. Please NO full face masks. Students must wear their normal, safe mask.

4. Please do NOT send extra accessories to school (wands, weapons, etc.)

Livonia Virtual Students:

Please follow guidelines #3 and #4 above, and understand that full-faced masks

and accessories including weapons are not allowed.

(Please understand that this special day is for this year only;

next year we hope to celebrate our traditional Trunk or Treat, and we 

normally do not allow costumes in school.)
