πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚

Last week, you should have received a letter from Superintendent Oquist, specifically addressing our efforts regarding COVID so far this fall, and the success of those efforts. I have pulled out one paragraph from that letter, as a reminder of how you can help us stay safe:

"... a significant aspect of our new reality is the extensive efforts relating to the mandated quarantining of students who are deemed close contacts of positive and symptomatic cases. In an effort to limit the necessity of close contact quarantines, we truly need the entire community to be on board; this must be both a weekday and weekend effort for us all.  Our positive student cases have not been linked to a school source, which indicates the safety measures being utilized are effective.  We have identified events and activities of students that take place at other out-of-school gatherings (such as house parties, sleepovers) as a primary origin of exposure.  Please help us keep our students and staff healthy and able to remain in school by refraining from gatherings that bring groups of students together, especially unmasked and indoors."

We are all in this together. If we are diligent both in school and out, we will continue to be successful and keep our students and staff in school!
