BE Respectful!
November Character Trait
Our character focus for this month is BE Respectful.
We've defined this trait as treating others the way you wish to be treated, and showing others you care about them.
Sometimes when we're feeling mad or upset, it's difficult to treat one another with respect, but we're talking about how important it is that we do this all the time, even when we don't feel like it.
Talk to your kids about being respectful!

 Riverside Skate Night is Tonight!

 Turkey Trot Pledge Forms
Turkey Trot pledge forms came home in backpacks on Thursday. The event takes place Friday, Nov. 17.
This is one of Rosedale's biggest fundraising events,
so we truly appreciate your support.
Please have your student return their pledge form and donations
by Friday, Nov. 17!
It's sure to be great fun for our kids!

Upcoming Dates
  • Tuesday, Nov. 14, Veteran's Day: Wear RED, WHITE, and BLUE to school!
  • Tuesday, Nov. 14, PTA Meeting, 6-7pm, in Room 7, Daycare and pizza dinner provided
  • Friday, Nov. 17, Turkey Trot, 1:45-3:15. Students collect pledges for walking and participating in exercise stations. This is a PTA fundraiser. 
  • Monday, Nov. 20, After-school Spanish, 4-5pm, registration required.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 21, Turkey Trot RAIN DATE.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 22 thru Friday, Nov. 24, Thanksgiving Recess. No School!
  • Thursday, Nov. 30, End of the First Marking Period and Picture Retake Day
  • Friday, Dec. 1, No School for Students

Other Reminders

The Goodfellows Canned Food Drive is one more week only.
Please send in your non-perishable food items to help those in need over the holidays.

We will continue to collect Box Tops through Dec. 22 and appreciate each and every one sent in. It is very helpful if you check the expiration date, and trim the Box Tops carefully. Our school gets money for each Box Top sent in. Thank you for supporting our school!

ELVs Program in Full Swing
Our Early Literacy Volunteers have been scheduled and are visiting our school to read with students. We are so lucky to have so many dedicated volunteers, and so many of them from the Rotary Club.

Attention ALL Fourth Graders!! Wednesday is our 4th grade Graduation Yard Sign distribution, starting at 3:45. Due to a generous donation, ALL fourth graders will be receiving a sign, so come on by! Pick up will be drive-by, and will be available from 3:45-4:30! For last minute orders, CLICK HERE ! Orders are due TODAY, Friday, June 4, by noon!   Important Transportation Information for 21-22 All students in K-12  eligible for transportation  based on their home address will be required to request transportation for the 2021-22 School year.
