VIP Dance Rocks!
Thank you to our PTA and our volunteers for planning and setting up such a
great event on Thursday night!
Families enjoyed a tasty spaghetti dinner, dessert, photo booth,
awesome decorations, and DANCING!
It's always a treat to see our families having such a great time.
If you stopped by and had your photo taken by our photographer, your memorable
photo will be printed and sent home with your student, as a special keepsake.
Again, thank you to the staff and parents
who worked so hard to make this such a great event!

Final Box Top Collection of the Year!
Rosedale is collecting Box Tops
through MARCH 1, 2018.
This is the final deadline for the year.
So far this year, we have collected $288.70,
with a goal of $500 for the year.
This money is used to fund field trips, buy teaching supplies,
fund March is Reading Month activities, purchase leveled books for our library,
and supply classroom Scholastic News magazines for our students.
Please help our school reach this goal!
Thank you, The Rosedale PTA

EVERY MINUTE, EVERY DAY
We have been noticing a lot of students coming to school late, or leaving early. Every minute counts during the school day. Daily routines and lessons that are taught in the beginning and at the end of each day are just as important as the lessons and routines that happen in the middle of the school day.
Students who miss end of the day recess are also missing out on valuable socialization time. Our students have 30 straight minutes to talk, play games and solve problems with their peers. Learning how to successfully navigate their way through this less structured time will play a large role with how confidently your child handles social interactions for the rest of their life. We are living in a time where a child's day is dominated by teachers, coaches, parents and screen time. Children need to experience unstructured play time. Recess and lunch are often times their only chance to do this.
Excessive minutes that are lost during ANY part of the school day can slow down progress with academics, socialization and learning routines. Please make sure that you are doing everything possible to keep your child in school all day, every day.
EVERY MINUTE COUNTS!!

CHS Celebrates March is Reading Month,

The event takes place on March 1 at 6:00pm at Churchill High School
It includes multiple activities dedicated to Dr. Seuss and concludes with cupcakes and other snacks. The members of our society work diligently to create an exciting and enjoyable atmosphere and we enjoy hosting this event for students every year.
