Our Daddy Daughter Dance
is TONIGHT, 6:00-8:00PM!!!
Pre-registration is required.
Baked Good Donations can be dropped off
at school, or bring them with you.
Looking forward to seeing
all the beautiful people for dinner
and dancing!

Rosedale's 2/3/4th grade students attended
the CAPA dress rehearsal for
Peter Pan, this past Thursday.
They were an awesome audience for an awesome production!
Thank you, CAPA!

Drop and Go!
If you are dropping off your child(ren)
in the morning, please remember
that we have too much traffic,
and respectfully ask that the adult
stay in the car if you are electing to
Drop and Go. You may always park in a designated parking spot
if you are choosing to walk up to the
building. Otherwise, let's keep the
traffic flow moving!!!
The building is open to students
at 8:40, because that is when
we have staff available to monitor
the students. They will wait outside
until the doors are opened.

Early Pick Ups
If you have an appointment or other reason to check your child out
early, please plan on arriving early. We would prefer to call
your student down to the office once you arrive, and not before.
Every minute of every day is important, including
the last minutes of the day.
Please plan accordingly!

WIDA Assessment

Under federal and state law, students who are English Language Learners (ELL) are required to participate in an English language proficiency assessment annually until they are proficient on this assessment, including any ELL-eligible student not enrolled in the district’s ELL program due to parent refusal of services. Our state’s test for the purpose of English language proficiency is called the Assessing Comprehension and Communication in English State-to-State (ACCESS).

This assessment will be administered to all ELL students, kindergarten through 12th grade, between February 4, 2019 and March 7, 2019. It assesses social and instructional English used within the school context as well as listening, speaking, reading and writing in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies.
Rosedale ELL students are scheduled to be tested Feb. 19-March 1.

Rosedale Elementary School School-Parent-Student Compact
As a Title I building, we have a Compact written between
the school, parents, and students, to ensure the success of our students.
This Compact is sent home in the fall, and reviewed annually
with staff and parents.
As a reminder, here is link to refresh your memory!
We are partners, "Building a better world, one student at a time!"
