Rosedale Third Grade
Youth Making a Difference Project
Our third grade classrooms will be collecting
HATS, GLOVES, and MITTENS
to donate to CARES of Farmington Hills.
They serve over 800 families in the Redford, Westland, Farmington, and Livonia areas.
Please send in gently used, clean and/or new
hats, gloves, and mittens of all sizes
starting after the winter break.

Rosedale a Chromebook Grant
Thank you to Vibe Credit Union for choosing
Rosedale Elementary to receive a grant for $1352.00,
enough to purchase 4 Chromebooks.
Thank you to Mrs. Hillary and her efforts to
apply for grants for the expansion of our technology.
Rosedale also received a grant worth
$10,000.00!!!
A parent of two of our students submitted a grant application on our behalf and the company chose Rosedale as the recipient.
The company wishes to remain anonymous.
We are using this money to purchase 30 Chromebooks.
This helps us get closer to our goal of one device per student.

The PTA is collecting CANS & BOTTLES as a fundraiser.
Remember to keep your empties from holiday
gatherings and donate them to our school!
A collection barrel will be located in the lobby.

Happy New Year!
I want to congratulate all of our 2nd and 3rd grade students on their wonder Holiday Musical Performance! You did a super job and it brought so much joy to this season!
Grades 1 and 4 will be performing in the spring.
Rosedale will be on March 18.
4th graders will be starting recorders when we return from vacation. If you have a recorder, please bring it. If you don’t I will arrange use of one owned by the school. Each student will be provided the book below. Students must have this book and their recorder on their assigned music class.
Looking forward to diving deeper into the elements of music!
