Face Covering Update for Students: Gaiters

Last week we informed you of an update to the District's face mask requirement, which included a ban on neck gaiters. After further research into the latest studies and recommendations from the CDC and the MDHHS, Livonia Public Schools has amended last week's requirements. Based on current research and CDC guidance, students, staff, and visitors may continue to wear a neck gaiter only if it worn "doubled up." This means the wearer would be required to either wear two (2) gaiters over their mouth and nose, one on top of the other, or would be required to fold a single gaiter in half so double the material will cover both the mouth and nose. We apologize for any confusion. Thank you.


Fall Registration

Reach out to your neighbors who decided to
home-school their children this year. They MUST re-register their children for the fall. Please help us out and remind them to go online to the LPS website and start the process for Fall 2021!  
(Rosedale students in LV or F2F this year are good for the fall. There is no need to re-register, only those who chose to home-school or those who will be new kindergartners, must register.)


Bus Stop Tips
1. Be a few minutes early, both in the morning and the afternoon. 
2. In the morning, please have your children out of the car and lined up BEFORE the bus arrives. The weather is good, and having your child wait in the car only means our drivers need to wait, therefore holding up traffic and delaying their arrival to the next stop.
3. All Kindergarten students MUST have an adult waiting for them at their afternoon stop.
Again, be a few minutes early.
We can work together to make transportation of our students
safe and efficient for everyone!

Attention ALL Fourth Graders!! Wednesday is our 4th grade Graduation Yard Sign distribution, starting at 3:45. Due to a generous donation, ALL fourth graders will be receiving a sign, so come on by! Pick up will be drive-by, and will be available from 3:45-4:30! For last minute orders, CLICK HERE !
